Our service starts at 10:30 AM at 5375 N. Maroa Ave. We are a building with Sunnyside SDA of Fresno. They use building on Saturdays and we use it on Sundays.
The most important thing is that you come! You’ll see a variety of dress at SVPC. Some dress up, others are more casual. Not sure? Business casual or nice jeans and a nice shirt will fit in just fine.
We currently offer Sunday School for preschool and elementary aged children. We offer nursery care during the service. There will also be a brief children’s message during the service itself. Children (and their various sounds) are welcome in our service! There is also a cry room that parents can use.
The building has ample parking off of Barstow. Riding a bicycle? Please feel free to bring it in with you and park it in the Maroa room to your right as you enter.
Yes! No stairs or short ramps, just roll right on in.
There are two good options for getting to Sierra View by bus depending on where you are coming from. The building is roughly equidistant between the 26 bus line that runs along Palm and the 1 bus line that runs along Blackstone.
Our service follows a liturgy (structure) that moves from looking to God, confessing our sins, praying for each other and for the community, and spending time in the Bible. Throughout the service, we will sing together. Our songs are a mix of psalms, hymns, and more contemporary worship music. We celebrate the Lord’s Supper together regularly, which is a way to remember what Jesus did for us. Our sermons tend to be about 35 minutes, and our total service time is about 90 minutes. Our hope is that you will leave feeling encouraged, equipped, and well fed spiritually.
