4 Areas of Ministry Focus

SVPC Ministry Commitments: Intentionality
Fellowship / Discipleship / Outreach / Church Planting. These are the 4 areas of ministry focus for the pastors and elders, and they commend them each to the church for prayer, labor and support.
· 2 areas of ministry focus are intentionally inward to promote the “body life” of the church: Fellowship (Ac. 2, 5) and Discipleship (2 Tim 2:1-2. Mt. 28)
· 2 areas of ministry focus are intentionally outward to promote Gospel proclamation – ‘to build them up, send them out.’ Outreach (Mt. 28, Ac.10) and Church Planting (Ac. 13, Titus 1:5).
