Sierra View Presbyterian Church

Brian Peterson became our Pastor in 2003. He came to us from Jackson, MS where he graduated from Reformed Theological Seminary with a Masters of Divinity and worked at Trinity Presbyterian Church. Brian is the youngest of three children. He grew up in San Diego and other southern California communities, and so coming to Fresno was a sort of homecoming for him. Prior to moving to Mississippi, Brian worked with Campus Crusade for Christ, an experience that allowed him several opportunities for short-term foreign missions. He has often said that aside from Redemption, the greatest thing that has ever happened to him was meeting his wife, Anna. Brian and Anna have six small children and a large dog. Samuel is 8, Kiah is 7, Katherine (Kate) is 5, T.J. is 4, Nathan is 3 and Meghan was born in November 2009.  The dog is named Bo (there’s really not much to say about Bo… he’s just big… and maybe missing a few screws upstairs!). Sean Henderson joined the staff of Sierra View in April 2005 to serve in a “tent-making” capacity and serves as our Associate Pastor. Sean is a graduate of Westminster Theological Seminary, where he earned the Master of Divinity degree. Prior to graduating from WTS, Sean served as a missionary intern with Mission to the World in Thailand, where he assisted the church planting team in Bangkok by teaching English, writing Bible studies, and reaching out to the lost with Christ’s redeeming love. Sean is originally from the Fresno area. He grew up in Bass Lake, graduated from Yosemite High School in Oakhurst, and earned his Bachelor’s degree from Fresno State University. Sean says that he returned to the Fresno area because he has a strong desire to see Biblical, Reformed and Covenantal churches established throughout the Central Valley.  Sean married his beloved Samantha in 2008 and says that she is the greatest blessing that the Lord has brought into his life.
